Have you completed your shopping yet?  I have been working on it.  Seems like as soon as I think I am done with my kids, they think of something else they can't live without.  I was planning to cut back this year too.  Never happens.  I usually finish early then about the week before Christmas I get the itch to shop again, just to see if I am missing anything.  I guess I am just a softy.  I did get my Christmas Cards out though.  Above is my family picture I used on our cards this year.  Left to right: Nicole, Joey, Bill, and Lonna. It was taken in our back yard with the camera on the timer setting.  You know, look through the camera, focus, and run around to be in the picture.  We did it about 5 times, before everyone was done.  Usually I just use a picture of my two kids, but decided to do the whole family this year.  Do you keep your picture Christmas Cards each year?  One year I made a quilt wall hanging with 9 years of Christmas Card pictures, transferred to fabric, of my cousin's kids.  It came out quite cute.  I will see if I can dig out a picture.  Will have to scan it though, as it was "pre-digital".  I enjoy doing those fun projects, especially as an unexpected surprise gift.
